Owner Chef Akari welcomes you as you enter her glass-walled restaurant, a nine-minute walk from Matsumoto Station. The restaurant is decorated in pale blue tones and has 20 seats. The restaurant is as comfortable as Akari's home, but the taste is authentic.

The lunch menu offers four choices of meat, fish, roast beef, and pasta. Akari uses as many local ingredients as possible. With many local farmer friends, Akari uses a lot of fresh vegetables. The rice is also locally grown. You can watch over the counter as Akari cooks with her heart and soul.

Akari is also a sommelier. The restaurant has a selection of wines, mostly French, but also Chilean and local wines. Beer, cocktails, and sangria are also available.“I want our guests to enjoy a relaxing lunchtime drink here," says Akari. The restaurant is open until 4:00 p.m., but dinner is served only on Fridays and Saturdays. Dinner guests can also enjoy gibier dishes.

Akari has nearly 30 years of experience as a chef. She specializes in French, Mediterranean, and Asian cuisine. After the birth of her child, she devoted herself to raising her child. Her friends encouraged her to open Restaurant Akarié in 2019. Akarié has many regular local customers, including Tatsuya Yamamoto, operator of ALPSCITY pay Local touch.

Akari loves music. She enjoys playing music with her friends in a band. Matsumoto is known as a city of music. Every summer, a music festival founded by renowned conductor SEIJI OZAWA is held. Many of its participants also enjoy food and wine at Akarié during the festival.
